How does excitement help me be a good buyer?
There is no such thing as "impossible" in my work.
I'm always looking for a way to solve a problem, not the reasons why in any way.
I think this is a super important quality for a person in general, and especially for a buyer.
It's like a game, a competition with circumstances, where the main prize is not a thing, but emotions from the realization of the client's desire.
I get an incredible boost when I find cool offers, a size or a model that you can't find.
Of course, the sphere of buying is about risks. But where there are risks, there is also a great emotional uplift.
I'll give you an example:
A girl turned to me. She was looking for a ring that is sold-out everywhere in the USA and Europe.
The challenge is accepted, the game has begun!
The task was to find out where it is available, then find people to whom you can entrust the order, calculate all duties and delivery. After 2 hours, I found 2 people in Tokyo and Bangkok who could buy this position, and we also knew how much the desire would cost.
Victory. Jubilation. Delight.
Gambling is my strong point, I sincerely believe that it is impossible to win in my favorite business otherwise.
