Why do the words of Dostoevsky and Kafka still feel so relevant more than a century later?
Perhaps because they understood something timeless about human nature.
Fyodor Dostoevsky explored the deepest corners of the human mind—our fears, beliefs, suffering, and the difficult truths we often avoid. His works challenge readers to confront themselves and question what it truly means to live an authentic life.
Franz Kafka, on the other hand, captured feelings of isolation, anxiety, and the strange complexities of existence with unmatched brilliance. His stories remind us how easy it is to feel lost in a world that often seems confusing and indifferent.
Together, their writings invite us to look beyond comfort, beyond appearances, and beyond the illusions we create to protect ourselves from reality. They encourage us to think deeper, feel more honestly, and question the world around us.
Some books entertain us for a few hours. Others change the way we see ourselves forever.
