Remembering Latvian folklore and ornaments. On this longbow "Firebird" we painted the historical belt of Lielvarde. It is most magnificent Latvia’s ethnographic belt which symbols are twined around with countless legends. In the past the belt was worn by women and men begird around the waist in celebrations. As time went by functional, designfull belt of Lielvarde became glorified symbol of Latvian nation, which main task unfortunately now was only to hang in shelves of museums gathering dust and visitor glances.

This is the prototype of the Longbow-Hybrid "Phantom". Speical edition with early Aftrican/European cave paintings and bone engravings. With the recent trend to hybrid bows, we developed the “PHANTOM”, a modern-retro deflex/reflex longbow. We wished to retain the good looks of the traditional longbow and combine the performance and shooting qualities of a hybrid longbow. This bow is smooth, fast and accurate with no hand shock. The bow comes with maple or bamboo limbs and exotic wood veneers. Every bow is truly custom made by our crew member - bowyer and archer Mr. A. Vilister. It has very fast arrow speed at 29” draw length (192 FPS) and is very soft and flexible. This particular bow is for sale. Specs are 39 lbs. power at 28" draw length and 64” long.
