TLDR:
Last year my work and life was stepping into a new level: going through burnout, recovering, failing and trying again. There were dark days... a lot of them. And yet I chose to go forward, to learn further, to work deeper, to be who I am and embrace all the feelings that go through. There were a lot of new challenges on the way. And together with challenges also new opportunities. I'm grateful to have family standing by my side and really amazing friends who have supported me through difficulties. Somehow comes that close friends are also colleagues and employers. Their fire and passion for what they do enlightens a lot of dancers. And also myself. In the darkest days their light was shining through me giving hope, encouraging me to stand up and keep going. So I want to share them and their pages with you:
Modern Swing / West Coast Swing Latvijā
Our local dancers, the best social dancing community I've ever been into. Always feels like home when being with them. Modern Swing Latvia Founded by magical dancer Inga. She breathes through dance. Each of her cells feels the music and dances musical accents into unique moves. She finds a really good way to share her knowledge in dance and in life. Our growing dancing community has a lot of talents. And together we create unforgettable events and moments. Happy to be part of MS/WCS Latvijā🎨🖌
WE Dance Deju Studija
Our local dancing school has a warm and cozy atmosphere. This dance studio was founded by Modern Swing Latvia. There are good teachers from different dancing styles, nice music and the smell of coffee in the long-night parties 💃🕺
Riga Swings Back
The coziest festival I've attended. Great organization, nice and open-minded dancers. Warm and supportive atmosphere going through the dance hall. Everyone dances with everyone not looking at the dancing experience. It's a social dancing event without competitions. Event director Linards are always aware of staff and attendees well-being. Even if he doesn't have time for a talk, he will still ask if everything is in the right places ❤
Adj Bro
Heartful event organizer from France, Strasbourg. He always has the right word for you. From him you hear mindful and deep advices in dance and in life. He is such an experienced, talented dancer! And still he is always learning and looking for growth as a dancer and as a human being. We had amazing coworking for rebranding Christmas event: En attendant Noёl à Strabourg 2024. And then the second rebranding for Spring Of Motion 2025 / Printemps du mouvement. The face of the spring event became so juicy, colorful and playful! Just like the feeling of spring coming! I think Adj Bro got the best logo I've ever created 🤩
Being - Inga Kurcisa & Browly Adjavon
Collaboration of 2 beautiful artists from 2 different places. Thier vision of movement are so unique that I believe they have developed their own dance style. Take a look, you will be amazed! 😍
Zouk in Latvia with Darja - great collaboration with another social dance school in Riga. Darja is always caring and supportive. We have small things connecting us. I'm so happy to be a little part of Zouk in Latvia movement 😊
