I am Elsa - ceramic artist based in Latvia. I make small batches of pottery, aiming to be the opposite of mass-produced factory ware. My tableware is tactile and shows its handmade nature. To create items i use stoneware and porcelain using both technique: potter's wheel and slip casting. I like to experiment with shape and color to create things that are a little different from others. Living in Latvia, I get inspiration from the Baltic nature that surrounds me.
