Samogitia National Park or Žemaitija National Park is a national park in Lithuania. It is situated on the Samogitian Highlands, 45 km from the Baltic Sea. Lakes cover more than 7% of its territory. Lake Plateliai (12.05 km2, 47 m depth) is the largest lake. The town of Plateliai, situated on the shore of the lake, is the seat of the park's administration and a popular tourist destination. The Park has Category II in the classification of the IUCN. The center of the national park is the deepest, largest and most beautiful lake in Samogitia, fanned by legends - Plateliai. Magical nature, rich history and distinctive cultural values ​​reflect the uniqueness of this ethnographic region.

The national park is located in the southeastern part of the Republic of Lithuania, 25 km west of the capital Vilnius. The park is located in the area of ​​the Dzūkija Upland at an altitude of 102–228 m above sea level. Located in the east of Dzukija, in the center of the historical town of Trakai. The area of ​​the park is 8200 hectares. There are more than 32 lakes in the park.
The legendary residence of the Lithuanian rulers, the lakes and their picturesque shores, the heritage of the Karaites and the local aristocracy - only in Trakai you can find so many treasures in one place. Auksteit National Park (Aukštaitijos nacionalinis parkas)
is located in the north-east of Lithuania, just 110 km from the capital – the city of Vilnius. It is the oldest object of its kind in the country and the most picturesque, for which the locals call it "Lithuanian Switzerland".
Aukstein National Park extends over 405 thousand square kilometers (this is 1% of the total area of the country), of which 2% belongs to a specially protected area. 50% of the reserve's territory is administratively located in Ignalinsky district, 25% – in Shvenchensky and the same amount – in Utensky.
The biological diversity of the park is really amazing – 59% (64 species of plants and 8 species of fungi) are found in it from all representatives of the flora that are registered on the territory of Lithuania. There are 48 species of birds listed in the Red Book.

The Curonian Spit (lit. Kuršių nerijos nacionalinis parkas) is a national park of Lithuania, which is located in the west of the country and occupies the eastern part of the territory of the Curonian Spit (50 km belongs to Lithuania). The sand dunes of the Curonian Spit separate the fresh waters of the Curonian Lagoon from the brackish waters of the Baltic Sea to the west. To preserve the unique landscapes, a national park was created in 1991. Any human activity is prohibited on the territory of the park, except for scientific observations and research.
