It was an honour to take part in such a wonderful event and loads of love for Chathuranga Weerasekara aiya for trusting us with the work! ❤Your vision is amazing and your organizing skills are next level ✨ Thanks again for giving us the opportunity to try new things, and we really enjoyed creating this magical masterpiece. 🦋

This divine butterfly was created with mirror pieces, each piece cut by hand. The 4 crescent moons were added as symbols of transcendance, positive energy, new beginings and the divine radiance of Lord Shiva. 🌙 As we expected, this amazing event upgraded the path of Sri Lankan underground music culture to transcend the international standards. Sri Lanka has many different artists in different fields, and .sl was a collective of all of them that proved, together we go a long way!

I take this moment to thank kitty aiya, all my friends and family, and everyone who supported us in each and every way to make this moment a success! ❤🥂✨

𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐞 𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐛𝐲 𝐉𝐢 𝐛𝐲 𝐉𝐈 🌕✨

The world, the humans and the material world we experience is created with the energy released from the Big Bang, and simply, each of us are made of stardust. 🌟 Means, we may have the same roots despite our differences. We may speak many languages but no language is as fluent as music in exprssing what we really feel within. So, we chose the theme - connect with the divine universe through the divine language of music- for this amazing event. ❤️‍🔥

The prop was divided into mainly 7 parts (obviously the lucky number!) with the moon at the centre, and the plus symbol ➕divided into two parts, connected with the Connect+ name board. The cosmic visuals were handpainted with theme colours, and of course with gold and glitter to highlight the theme. 💫 The artists standing in the middle of the moon, overlooking the amazing audience is what connect truly means. 🎶 The choice of moon amongst all the other planets is beacuse Moon is closely related to Kandyans and Hanthana. 😉
