Chocolate Republic first opened in the summer of 2011 in the North Lebanon village of Kousba, in the picturesque Koura region. The shop started out as an idea, a family project, dreamt up by its founder and owner Mrs. Hala Salloum Ghantous, a designer, painter, artist with an eye for beauty, style and of course chocolate ! All the items found in the boutique are hand-picked and selected by Hala
, and most if not all of the chocolate varieties have been tried and tested on friends and family members . Gift items of all shapes, sizes and price ranges are on offer, from vases to lamps to cake toppers and decorative frames and mirrors. Chocolates can be personalized to suit any occasion, including weddings, bridal showers, gifts, baptism and first communion, graduations, easter, Christmas, Eid, Valentine's day, and all special occasions.
