Known to many as Ms. Chasteen, Sister Chasteen; she was a wife, mother, and sister but importantly she woman of deep faith, gentle strength, and unwavering love went home to be with the Lord on July 25th, 2025, at the age of 83. Her life was a reflection of God’s grace, and her legacy will continue to inspire all who knew her.
A Service of Thanksgiving in celebration of her life will be held at the Church of God Chapel on Walkers Road on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow at the Garden of Reflections on Old Prospect Road.
She is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband: Robert; sons: Rayal, Jeremy, and Jesse; daughters-in-law: Heidi and Julie; granddaughters: Saige and Jazlyne; sister: Aline; and brother James; many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, dear friends, work colleagues, and her cherished church family.
We invite all who knew and loved her to join us in honoring a life well lived, a life rooted in faith, family, and service.
Though we mourn her passing, we rejoice in the hope of eternal life and take comfort in knowing she now rests in the presence of her Savior.
May her soul rest in perfect peace and may she walk along with Jesus.
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness…”
