Our Cayman Islands Humane Society Thrift Shop is recruiting for a full time Sales Assistant (40 hours per week) to join our dedicated !

Here's a little about duties and who we are looking for. If you think you'd make a great team member as a Sales Assistant and you're interested in this position, please send your C.V. to [email protected] today!

What will you do?

Process & display donations
Maintain a clean and organized shop environment
Support thrifters with friendly & helpful customer service
Support special thrift shop events
Complete sales using a cash register, when requested

Candidates must be trustworthy and honest with at least 18 years old with a clean police record, & reliable transportation.

Requirements:
Customer Service and Cashier experience.
Knowledge of donations - Willingness to learn about donations and processing them for the thrift shop.
Availability to support special thrift shop events
Ability to lift and carry 40 lbs with ease and without assistance
Be a flexible team player with a positive attitude & ability to work independently to support thrifters & the community as needed.
A great eye for detail and the ability to produce creative displays of donated goods - Training can be provided - The interest needs to be there!

Friendly, reliable, flexible & willing to learn about donated items, merchandising & selling.

Our Cayman Islands Humane Society Thrift Shop is so grateful for all the interest in our first Flash Auction item: Star Wars Clone Trooper life size figure!

The closed biddings ended Wednesday, 23 August. The highest bidder was contacted & our has received the bidding funds.

Congratulations to Angus! We know he will love his birthday surprise from his wonderful parents!

Funds raised will directly benefit our shelter animals at our Cayman Islands Humane Society.
