DJ Sundae는 파리를 기반으로 활동하며 레코드 디깅에 깊은 애정을 지닌 DJ입니다. 그의 셋은 장르의 규칙보다는 직관과 감정에 의해 이끌리며, 하우스, 웨이브, 덥, 앰비언트, 포크, 그리고 잘 알려지지 않은 기묘한 댄스플로어 음악 사이를 유영하듯 오갑니다.

부스 밖에서도 그는 영향력 있는 컴필레이션 기획자로 활동하고 있습니다. Efficient Space에서 컬트 클래식으로 평가받는 Sky Girl을 공동 컴필레이션하며 언더그라운드 포크와 DIY 팝에 대한 새로운 청취 경험을 제시했고, 최근에는 반사, 취약성, 기억을 탐구하는 콘셉트 중심 컴필레이션 Mirrors를 발표하며 스토리텔러로서의 독자적인 목소리를 더욱 선명하게 드러냈습니다.

Idle Press의 설립자로서 그는 여전히 주목받지 못한 보석 같은 음악과 미래지향적인 아티스트들을 발굴 / 소개하고 있으며, Good Morning Tapes와 The Trilogy Tapes 같은 영향력 있는 플랫폼과의 협업 및 참여도 이어가고 있습니다. 그의 한정판 카세트 릴리즈는 매번 빠르게 매진되며 충성도 높은 컬트 팬층을 형성했고, 직관적인 테이스트 메이커로서의 명성을 확고히 했습니다. 또한 NTS Radio에서 장기간 진행해 온 No Weapon Is Absolute 쇼를 통해 클럽을 넘어 전 세계의 리스닝 문화에 영향을 미치고 있습니다.

DJ Sundae is a Paris-based DJ with a deep love for record digging. His sets drift between house, wave, dub, ambient, folk and obscure dance floor oddities guided by instinct and emotion rather than genre rules.

Beyond the booth, he has become an influential compiler. He co-compiled the cult classic Sky Girl on Efficient Space, reshaping how many listeners discovered underground folk and DIY pop, and recently unveiled Mirrors a concept-led compilation exploring reflection, vulnerability and memory, highlighting his distinctive voice as a storyteller.

As the founder of Idle Press, he continues to champion overlooked gems and forward-thinking artists while also collaborating and appearing through respected platforms such as Good Morning Tapes and The Trilogy Tapes. His limited cassette releases routinely sell out, earning him a loyal cult following and cementing his reputation as a uniquely intuitive tastemaker. Through his long-running No Weapon Is Absolute show on NTS Radio, he shapes global listening culture far beyond the club.

In a few weeks, Seoul welcomes a true digger’s digger.
