Rice flour is often hailed as the perfect first food for weaning babies. The main reason is that it’s easily digested and hypoallergenic, so there’s next to no chance of your baby reacting badly to it.
As well as being gentle on your baby’s immature digestive system, rice flour is bland in flavour, meaning they are unlikely to object to the taste, so he shouldn’t gag or have difficulty chewing or swallowing it. Also if your baby doesn't like the blandness, you can add some cinnamon as we have done in the video. Also we don't advise use of sugar as a sweetener, instead boil an apple and blend it and add it to the Uji. You can use a ripe banana as well.
Why Rice flour?
1)It's gluten free which is the most common allergies trigger
2)Has iron which is needed for healthy blood
3) It has zinc which helps strengthen the immune system
4) It has thiamin which helps the body release energy from food.
