This man spoke yesterday, and he said something that sounds a bit normal but painful to those who always have deeper understanding. He said, "i have been sick battling cancer for some time, but from the looks of it I will live by it till my last days on earth." Many will judge him from a different perspective but we have to come into agreement that of course this killer snake is a threat to human life.
For this reason, i always urge my fellow youths and young adults, that, if we can't come out to categorically fight for better healthcare, then we have that son of peasant farmer who cannot afford to pay chemotherapy at Aghakhan hospital or Nairobi Hospital, many will vanish in our villages, then we call the disease names, like my community they will baptise it( Chira), and we continue to die.
If we can't reason with those in power to strategise on our kids will learn, for instance, since the first years join universities, lecturers are on strike and you still get it from their unions that strikes will go until December, where and when will our children get their rights to education.
It's high time to engage.
