What inspired you to write a children’s book about prayer?

I have been teaching my children about prayer and for those on this Salvation Journey know the importance of prayer. It’s an effective tool to equip our children which enables them to connect to God. Its makes it more real to them hence the instruction to write about it.

Mükami Kimathi: Mau Mau Freedom Fighter is the story of the brave wife of one of Kenya’s foremost freedom fighters, Field Marshal Dedan Kimathi Waciüri. Kimathi led the Mau Mau war in Kenya’s independence struggle against the British colonialists. Mükami’s role as a daughter, wife, mother, freedom fighter and leader is varied and very complex.
