Behind the scenes with our craftsmen.

The women do the weaving! The finishing of each and every bag is skillfully handcrafted by Bwana Chris who is keen to detail that enables the finesse in every piece of the kiondo / basket.
He loves preparing the leather that adds colour and texture to each of the designs.

Chris has been working as a craftsman for more than a decade and loves spending time with his family after a long day at his working station.
