Art can speak where words fail. 🎨
This custom piece is inspired by Nelson Mandela — a symbol of courage, activism, and standing up for truth. I took an old blazer jacket and gave it new life through art, turning something forgotten into a message of resilience and voice.
For me, this piece is about more than fashion.
It’s about speaking your truth, standing up for yourself, and transforming what already exists into something powerful.
Old clothes. New meaning. New energy. ♻️

Art connecting communities. ♻️🎨
Today I had the opportunity to meet Joan Atieno, founder of Warembo Wasanii in Korogocho.
She mentors girls and young women through recycled art, turning waste into powerful stories and opportunities.
Our conversation was full of inspiration as she shared her journey as a recycled artist and community mentor. To mark the moment, we exchanged artworks — from one recycled artist to another.
Moments like these remind me that art is more than creativity.
It’s community, mentorship, and transformation.

From dumpsite to legacy. ♻️🌍
This portrait of Wangari Maathai is created using discarded bottle tops, denim scraps, old motherboards, and sisal remains — all sourced from waste.
She taught us that the environment is not separate from us. That planting a tree is planting hope. Through her work with the Green Belt Movement, she showed Kenya and the world that small community actions can restore dignity, land, and future generations.
In honoring her, I chose to create from what society throws away — because conservation is not just about trees, it’s about mindset.
Waste can become wisdom.
Discarded materials can become remembrance.
This piece is a reminder: sustainability starts with responsibility. 🌱

Did a voiceover for who is multidisciplinary artist who does graffiti and mural art. He did a graffiti artwork based on the brand for which was really impressive. If you you love the voiceover and such artworks DM😂

created this recycled artwork inspired by the reality at Dandora dumpsite.
The marabou stork, often seen feeding on garbage, represents the growing challenge of non-recyclable waste that continues to rise beyond control.
This piece is more than art—it is a voice of advocacy for responsible waste disposal, environmental awareness, and conservation.
Through creativity, we can spark conversations and inspire action toward a cleaner, healthier future.
Let us all play a part in protecting our environment.

Never throw away an old skateboard instead give it new life by repainting it. Incase you have old skateboards lying in your home you can donate for a good cause to our art centre instead of throwing them away😁

gave this old blazer a second life through art.
Painted with the story of Mandela & Winnie, inspired by Long Walk to Freedom — a reminder that freedom, resilience, and hope are journeys we continue to walk today.
Recycling isn’t just about waste… it’s about restoring meaning, honoring history, and creating beauty from what was forgotten.
From discarded fabric to a wearable story of liberation.
This is eco-art. This is memory. This is Africa.

Grateful to have graduated as a Mental Health Champion from Mental Health Champion Initiative Kenya.
This experience has strengthened my purpose as a mentor, community builder, and creative educator—to use art, dance, and safe conversations as tools for healing, empowerment, and positive change.
Mental wellness is the foundation of strong individuals and thriving communities.
I’m committed to sharing this knowledge to inspire growth, resilience, and hope in the spaces I serve.
Together, we can build a society where everyone feels seen, supported, and empowered. 💚

Last Saturday at Small Axe Park, we collaborated with Amazing Minds to host bottle painting and art therapy sessions with kids from the community.
What stood out the most wasn’t just the art — it was the power of togetherness. Seeing children transform recycled bottles into art, express themselves freely, and smile without hesitation reminded us why community-led creativity matters.
This is the impact that happens when recycling, art, and collaboration come together.
♻️ Turning waste into tools for expression
🤝 Building safe, creative community spaces
🌱 Creating impact beyond aesthetics
