Estimates of net worth and annual earnings can differ quite a bit between sources. Here’s why:

• Forbes, Sportico and Celebrity Net Worth each use their own models (e.g., cash flow, asset valuation, equity stakes). Some count only cash earnings (prize money, salaries), others add estimated brand‑deal values, equity, and venture‑capital investments.

• Track‑and‑field athletes rarely disclose exact figures; most numbers are educated guesses based on known partnerships, appearance fees, and historical trends.

• Earnings in foreign currencies (e.g., euros, pounds) are converted at different exchange rates, which can shift USD‑equivalent values by a few percent.

(Because of these variables, you might see ± 5–15 % divergence for the same athlete across outlets)

I once visited Marsabit town, in the border county of Kenya and Ethiopia and I was shocked to find that coffee/mbuni/naturals are traded in the open market like maize and beans.
It seems Marsabit has adopted Ethiopia’s lifestyle around coffee while Kenya’s growing regions remain locked in the production-for-export mindset.

It’s an interesting paradox that:
Coffee growing counties (like Kirinyaga, Nyeri, Meru, etc.) Grow high quality coffee, but most households don’t have a strong daily drinking culture.

Non-coffee growing counties (like Marsabit) Import naturals/mbuni from Ethiopia and consume it freely and socially.
