Do you love delicious Brown pork...? Come along 😋

Roasted pork is a delicious and flavorful dish that can be enjoyed on various occasions. Here's a simple recipe for making brown roasted pork:

Ingredients:
- 2.5 lbs (1.1 kg) pork loin or pork shoulder (bone-in or boneless)
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
- Cooking twine (if using bone-in pork)

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. If using bone-in pork, tie the pork loin with cooking twine to keep it in shape during roasting. Pat the pork dry with paper towels.

3. In a bowl, combine minced garlic, olive oil, soy sauce, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, dried thyme, dried rosemary, paprika, black pepper, and salt. Mix well to form a marinade.

4. Rub the marinade all over the pork, making sure to coat it thoroughly. If you have time, cover the pork with plastic wrap and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour (overnight is even better) to enhance the flavors.

5. Place the marinated pork in a roasting pan or a baking dish, with the fat side facing up.

6. Roast the pork in the preheated oven for about 1 hour and 15 minutes to 1 hour and 30 minutes, depending on the size of the roast. To ensure it's cooked properly, use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature; it should read 145°F (63°C) for medium-done pork.

7. Once the pork is cooked to your desired doneness, remove it from the oven, and cover it loosely with aluminum foil. Allow it to rest for about 10 minutes before slicing.

8. While the pork is resting, you can use the pan drippings to make a delicious gravy. Pour the drippings into a saucepan and heat it over medium heat. You can thicken the gravy with a cornstarch slurry if desired.

9. Slice the roasted pork and serve it with your favorite sides, such as roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a fresh salad. Pour the gravy over the pork slices or serve it on the side.

Enjoy your delicious brown roasted pork!

Tupike KFC-like chicken

Preparing KFC-like chicken at home requires a few steps, including marinating the chicken and creating a flavorful coating. Here's a recipe for homemade KFC-style fried chicken:

Ingredients:

For marinating the chicken:
- 2 pounds of chicken pieces (drumsticks, thighs, wings, etc.)
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 tablespoon hot sauce (optional)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder

For the coating:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon dried thyme
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- 1 tablespoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions:

1. Marinating the chicken:
- In a large bowl, combine buttermilk, hot sauce (if using), salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Add the chicken pieces to the bowl, ensuring they are fully coated in the buttermilk mixture.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight. This helps tenderize and flavor the chicken.

2. Preparing the coating:
- In a separate large bowl, mix together the flour, cornstarch, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, dried thyme, dried oregano, dried basil, salt, and black pepper. Stir well to combine all the spices evenly.

3. Frying the chicken:
- In a deep, heavy-bottomed pot, heat enough vegetable oil to submerge the chicken pieces fully. Heat the oil to around 350-375°F (175-190°C).
- While the oil is heating, take the marinated chicken pieces out of the refrigerator and let them come to room temperature.
- Take one chicken piece at a time, allowing any excess buttermilk to drip off, then coat it thoroughly in the flour-spice mixture. Press the coating onto the chicken to ensure it adheres well.
- Once the oil is hot, carefully add a few chicken pieces at a time, being cautious not to overcrowd the pot. Fry the chicken for about 12-15 minutes, or until it is golden brown and cooked through. The internal temperature of the chicken should reach 165°F (74°C).
- Transfer the fried chicken to a wire rack or paper towels to drain any excess oil.

4. Serve:
- Allow the chicken to cool slightly before serving. Serve it with your favorite sides, such as coleslaw, mashed potatoes, or biscuits, to complete the KFC-like experience.

Enjoy your homemade KFC-style fried chicken! Remember to exercise caution when frying with hot oil and use a kitchen thermometer to ensure the chicken is cooked through.
