Today, on St. Patrick’s Day, we take a moment to remember Patrick Selfridge.
Patrick was a deeply valued part of the Mercury Magnetics family, and his absence is still felt in a very real way. Though I never had the chance to meet him, his presence is unmistakable here. In the systems he built, the relationships he shaped, and the standard of care and knowledge he brought to this place. His shadow, in the best sense, still stretches across everything we do.
Stepping into this role, I’ve come to understand just how much he carried. The trust he earned, the problems he solved, the way he showed up for customers and for the team. They are not small things. They are the kind of things that last.
It’s an honor to carry even a small part of what he built forward.
Patrick, you are remembered, and you are missed.
