G.F.G.S. のオーダーボーダー開催中！


少し前の投稿で、2017年のAIUEOのボーダー集合写真をご紹介しましたが、
ここ石川県加賀市に引っ越してきたKaorin & Suzuは、
今も変わらずこのカットソーを着ています。

せっかくなので、今回あらためて着てみました。

約10年着ても、くたびれない。
やっぱりいいなあと思えるG.F.G.S.のボーダーです。

2枚目の写真からは、今回のオーダーボーダーで作ったもの。

So we decided to wear them again.

「Gonna Rock Gonna Roll You」

そんな名前のついた編み機たち。
遊び心と愛情が、ものづくりの隅々まで感じられました。

その後、代表の小柳さんと
担当の佐野さんにお話を伺いました。

話題は、

音楽、車、加茂のこと、
駆け出しのころの話まで、自由にあっちこっちへ。

ですが、一つだけ心に強く残ったのは
「好きなものを自由に組み合わせて、新しいものを生み出せる」
ということ。

私たちもたくさんの元気とインスピレーションをもらいました。

After a tour of their compact production room—where each machine has its own name, like “Rock’n Roll with You” and “Gonna Rock Gonna Roll You”—we had the chance to talk with Oyanagi-san and Sano-san.

Our conversation drifted from music to cars, to stories about Kamo and their early days.

It moved freely from topic to topic, but one feeling stayed with us:

“You’re free to combine what you love and create something new.”

We left feeling inspired and energised.

🚗 新潟・加茂市にあるG.F.G.S.を訪問してきました 🚗

ノスタルジックな雰囲気漂う、長い商店街沿いにあるお店。
鮮やかなピンクの「G.F.G.S.」の看板がひときわ目を引きます。

事務所の中はちょっとユニークで、ファンキーで、パンク。
スタッフのみなさんもやさしくて、いい空気が漂っています。

一枚一枚、丁寧に作られているボーダーカットソー。

実際の現場を見ると、
長く着られる理由、
そしてまた着たくなる理由を、
あらためてたくさん見つけました。

オリジナル染色のオーガニックコットン糸から、
編み、裁断、縫製、発送まで。

すべての工程が、チームによって丁寧に手がけられています。

🚗 We visited G.F.G.S. in Kamo City, Niigata 🚗

Each border shirt is carefully made, one by one.

Seeing the production process in person, we discovered so many reasons why these pieces are made to last—and why you keep reaching for them again and again.

From spinning their own original dyed organic cotton yarn, to knitting, cutting, and sewing—every step is handled with care by the team.

This small team works closely together, each person taking on multiple roles, from preparation through to presentation, led by the charismatic founder, Oyanagi-san.

Located along a long, nostalgic shopping street, the shop is easy to spot—the bold pink “G.F.G.S.” sign really stands out.

Inside, the space feels unique—funky, playful, even a little punk—and the team are warm and welcoming.

The whole place has such a great atmosphere.

10年ほど前、AIUEOが京都（いろは出版内）で活動していた頃。

当時のメンバーの誕生日に、
「その人に似合うボーダーシャツ」を、
本人以外で選んで贈る、という楽しみがありました。
（たしか、ゆきちゃんのアイデア）

ボーダーといえば
白 × もう1色、のイメージだけど

G.F.G.S. は
好きな色を自由に組み合わせられる。

だからみんな、それぞれ違う2色で
ちょっとした“ボーダーユニフォーム”に。

誕生日が近づくと、

「次はどの色にする？」
「この子は絶対この色だよね」

って、選ぶ側も楽しく

もらう側も、
「私ってこの色なんだ」って
自分では選ばない色に出会えたりして、嬉しい思い出。

This Golden Week, we’re hosting an Order Border Event by G.F.G.S.!

✉️ Memories with G.F.G.S. ✉️
About 10 years ago, when AIUEO was based in Kyoto, we had a little tradition (thanks to Yuki, we think!).

For each team member’s birthday, we would secretly design a custom border T-shirt—choosing colours that felt just right for them.

When you think of border shirts, you might picture white with a single colour.
But with G.F.G.S., the possibilities are almost endless.

Our shirts became our own unique two-colour AIUEO “uniform.”

As birthdays came around, we’d say:
“What colours should we choose this time?”
“This one is so them.”

Choosing was always fun—and receiving one was even more special.
Sometimes we discovered colours we’d never pick for ourselves… and that made it even better.

And now—it’s your turn.

We’re hosting a special custom order event by G.F.G.S.!


Based in Kamo City, Niigata, G.F.G.S. offers a unique “custom border” system where you can create your own one-of-a-kind shirt by choosing colours, stripe width, and silhouette.

About 50 sample shirts will be available in-store come and try them on, explore combinations, and enjoy the process.
