電子レンジ・オーブン対応の備前焼。１枚１枚手作りで登り窯で焼き上げ? Various lores on Ura or fierce god have handed on.

　鎌倉時代から続く日本六古窯の一つに数えられるほどの伝統ある備前焼ですが、時代の変化ともに、産業としては下降線をたどるばかりです。
　岡山には、備前の国と吉備の国があり、吉備の国には、古くから桃太郎伝説が語り継がれています。
「温羅（うら）＝鬼神」として、様々な伝承が伝えられており、「鬼」をテーマにした備前焼を作る事で、「吉備の国」と「備前の国」の融合、岡山の経済、地域の復興・再生を願っております。
　古の時代、鬼が使ったであろう杯や腕・皿などをイメージしておりますが、現代の生活様式に合わせて、独自の製法により、電子レンジ・オーブン対応を可能にしました。
炎の芸術とも呼ばれる備前焼ならではの「窯変（ようへん）」の醸し出す、味のある多様な色彩と独特の質感を、お試しいただければと思います。

Although Bizen ware has

its history from the Kamakura period and one of the 6 ancient kilns of Japan, it is on a downhill course as an industry. There are two provinces, “Bizen” and “Kibi”, in the ancient Okayama and Momotaro legend has been handed down in the Kibi province. By making Bizen ware setting fierce god as a theme, I hope for the unity of “Kibi province” and “Bizen province”, and recovery and reconstruction of Okayama’s economy and local community. Imagining cups, bowls, and plates that fierce god would have used in the ancient time, but they are microwavable by own manufacturing method in order to adjust the current way of living. Please feel the unique texture and various colors
of the pottery created by yo-hen (deformation during
firing) which is especially applying to Bizen ware.
