The year was 2019 and people around the world were tuning in LIVE on social media to watch the 21st staging of the Sagicor Sigma Corporate Run.

The show, hosted by entertainment executive, podcaster and media producer, Odessa Chambers () alongside social media strategist () Joel Nomdarkham brought a variety show with games, giveaways and interviews giving viewers a chance to experience the largest Caribbean road race in all its glory.

This mileston saw viewers from over 15 countries and also allowed for persons to donate LIVE during the show.

Love at First Run - For Ayanna and Balwayne, it was love at first light.

Sigma Run was their meeting point and as fate would have it, they started a conversation over the simple things - PB (personal best), run time and strategies.

Fast forward a few years later and they fell in love, got married and have a beautiful baby girl.

This trophy, has a story.

The trophy you see in the runner’s hand was made by then Edna Manley College Student Ramon Christie ()

In 2016, he was commissioned by the Sagicor Foundation to make the 45 awards for that year's run. Surprised and grateful at the time, Christie noted that he didn't sleep for two days as he wanted to do the work to the best of his ability.

Since his fantastic work on the statues, Christie has completed studies at Edna and now runs a profitable business making designs that he loves.

We're happy to have helped him achieve his dreams as a student, now a PRO.
