I finally got round to making a quick video of our Turbot fishing trip last winter using the Water Wolf camera. It really does highlight the need to take care when fixing bait to your hook/rig!

Last winter we headed out in the search of Turbot. Seeing as we were fishing on sand banks I thought it would be fairly safe to attached my Water Wolf camera...

One Bass bag limit from the 1st October to the end of the year! The EAA has reported that the EU Council of Ministers have adopted the proposed adjustment of this year's management measures for recreational fishing of Bass:

This morning the Council of Ministers adopted the Commission's proposed adjustment of this year's management measures for recreational fishing of Northern bass. The retention ban has been replaced by a one bass bag limit with effect from 1st October to the end of the year.

Date set - the EU council of ministers will meet on the 27th September to discuss the new Bass proposals:

The EU's Council of Ministers will meet on September 27th when it is expected to adopt a measure meaning EU citizens will finally be able to keep sea bass caught recreationally from October 1st until the end of 2018.

Now that's the catch of a lifetime, and well worth jumping in the icy water for a photo!

Off the coast of Norway, Daniel Johannson catches, tags and releases this massive 462 pound halibut. But before he lets it go he jumps into the water with his dry suit on to let it go. This is the largest halibut that has ever been caught then released on record. Congrats Daniel!!!
