ogni fase passa da queste mani.

Un’artigianalità che vive nel presente, non preserva solo il passato. Una bellezza naturale fatta di variazioni della pelle, cuciture visibili, mani al lavoro.

Una borsa. Tante storie.

Yendry torna qui,
tra le strade che conosce a memoria,
tra gli androni che risuonano,
tra gli abbracci che non cambiano.

Torino è una storia che si porta addosso.
Anche quando è lontana.

Poi c’è un’altra storia.

Non ha mai avuto una borsa.
Non aveva mai trovato quella giusta.

E poi c’è l’amicizia con Mimì,
che le dice di ve**re da noi.

E poi la nostra.

Fatta di mani, ascolto, tempo.

Ci siamo seduti,
abbiamo parlato di quello che le serve davvero,
di cosa portarsi dietro ogni giorno,
di lavoro, di musica, di movimento.

E ascoltando la sua storia,
abbiamo creato qualcosa insieme a lei.

E piano, senza accorgercene,
queste storie hanno iniziato a intrecciarsi.

La sua,
Torino,
l’amicizia,
il nostro modo di lavorare.

Fino a quando l’ha presa in mano
e lo ha detto più volte, quasi sorpresa:

“La mia borsa.”

La sua prima.

E dentro, tutte queste storie insieme.

Yendry comes back here,
to the streets she knows by heart,
to echoing hallways,
to embraces that never change.

Turin is a story she carries with her.
Even when she’s far away.

Then there’s another story.

She had never owned a bag.
She had never found the right one.

And then there’s friendship —
Mimì, who tells her to come see us.

And then there’s ours.

Made of hands, listening, and time.

We sat down,
talked about what she really needs,
what she carries with her every day,
about work, music, movement.

And by listening to her story,
we created something together with her.

And slowly, without even noticing,
these stories began to intertwine.

Carlotta

Possiede una testa dura e quanto mai folta, e una lingua che raramente sta quieta.
Non cammina: zompetta. Diventare madre le ha tolto il sonno per sempre e i gin tonic hanno smesso di darle l’illusione dell’eternità. Ma il suo cuore non è mai stato così grande. Donna di relazioni e gestione.
Cofondatrice di Trakatan insieme ad Andrea: si muove tra decisioni, persone e cura
con determinazione silenziosa. Dà struttura alle idee e continuità alla visione insieme ad Andrea. Lui immagina. Lei organizza. Come il Bianconiglio mai in anticipo, spesso di corsa, sempre presente. Sogna di nascondersi in una borsa gigante e ritrovarsi dall’altra parte del mondo.
Nel 2021 torna studentessa al Master in Management della Sostenibilità a Ca’ Foscari.
Un modo per approfondire un tema già caro a Trakatan e ricordare che il rinnovamento parte sempre da noi stessi.
Perché qui nulla resta fermo.
Non le persone.
Non le idee.
Non il nostro modo di lavorare.

Headstrong, with a great mane of hair and the gift of the gab. Her walk is more of a hop and a skip. Motherhood has left her permanently sleep-deprived, and her favourite gin&tonic no longer gives her the illusion of everlasting life. But her heart has never felt bigger. A natural relationship builder and manager.

Co-founder of Trakatan alongside Andrea, she moves between decisions, people and care with quiet determination. She gives structure to ideas and continuity to the vision together with Andrea.
He imagines. She organizes.

Like the White Rabbit: never early, often running, always present. Her dream is to hide away inside a giant bag and find herself on the other side of the world.

In 2021 She completed a Master’s degree in Sustainability Management at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice — a subject deeply connected to Trakatan’s values and to the way we think about responsibility and the future.

Her path reflects a clear belief: growth is not something you finish, it’s something you practice.

Because here, nothing stands still.
Not people.
Not ideas.
Not the way we work.

It’s Trakatan.

Anche un accessorio nasce da una scelta progettuale precisa.

Questa pochette nasce da una necessità molto concreta. Abbiamo iniziato progettando borse molto grandi — contenitori capienti, pensati per accompagnare giornate intere tra lavoro, viaggio e movimento. Ed è proprio da lì che prende forma.

Nasce da due esigenze.

Da una parte, dal desiderio di dare continuità anche agli scarti di pelle che restano dal taglio delle borse più grandi. Ritagli più piccoli, ma preziosi.

Dall’altra, da una funzione molto semplice: organizzare il contenuto senza appesantire la borsa.

È stata la prima della nostra linea di piccola pelletteria, pensata per l’uso quotidiano e per il viaggio.

Si può portare da sola oppure all’interno di zaini, borsoni, trolley o altre borse, per organizzare meglio ciò che portiamo con noi.

Piccola nelle dimensioni,
ma progettata con la stessa intenzione delle grandi.

Even an accessory comes from a precise design choice.

This pouch was born from a very concrete need. We began by designing very large bags — spacious containers made to accompany entire days between work, travel and movement. And it is precisely from there that it takes shape.

It comes from two needs.

On one side, the desire to give continuity to the leather offcuts left from cutting our larger bags. Smaller cut pieces, yet precious.

On the other, a very simple function: organizing the contents without weighing the bag down.

It was the first piece in our small leather goods line, designed for everyday use and travel.

It can be carried on its own or placed inside backpacks, duffel bags, trolleys or other bags to better organize what we carry with us.

Small in size,
yet designed with the same intention as our larger bags.

li mette insieme, li mescola, li indossa come fossero parte di lei.

Andrea Boffetta. Boff. Or simply, Boffetta. A man of many sides. Graphic designer, photographer, art director. But also a former apple picker, warehouse worker, a student of political science before finding his way to design. Mad about fonts, images, screen-printing. In love with life and beauty. Driven by a personal mission: turning dreams into reality. A contemporary artisan by vocation, he is a founding partner of Trakatan, alongside Carlotta, and the brand’s creative director — even though he was its very first apprentice. Try asking him how many notebooks he fills, how many photos he takes in a day, how much music he listens to, how much light he takes in. Or don’t ask. Un uomo dalle molte sfaccettature.
Graphic designer, fotografo, art director.
Ma anche ex raccoglitore di mele, magazziniere,
studente di Scienze Politiche prima di trovare la sua strada nel design.

Follemente innamorato dei font, delle immagini, della serigrafia.
Della vita.
Della bellezza.

Guidato da una missione personale:
trasformare i sogni in realtà.

Artigiano contemporaneo per vocazione,
è socio fondatore di Trakatan, insieme a Carlotta,
e direttore creativo del brand —
anche se ne è stato il primissimo apprendista.

Prova a chiedergli quanti quaderni riempie,
quante foto scatta in un giorno,
quanta musica ascolta,
quanta luce assorbe.

Oppure non chiedere.

Sappi solo che tutto questo flusso di ispirazione
prende forma nelle nostre borse —
spesso niente di più
