LIVORNO – APRIL 25–26, 2026
The Accademia Navale Trophy will be back in Livorno with a National Windsurfer Regatta — a perfect occasion to celebrate this iconic moment from almost 8 years ago.

Right here in Livorno, Windsurfer Europe unveiled the Windsurfer LT in its world premiere.

Many of the pioneers who were there can still be recognized by their sail numbers. Back then, we were sailing the old polyethylene boards — some already featuring the graphics that we later adapted to the LT.

That day marked the beginning of a new chapter for the class — and this photo captures the spirit that made it possible: community, passion, and pure windsurfing.

See you on the water where it all started.
