Second Rizosfera Newsletter July 2026: Rizosfera warehouse summer closure — order by 2pm on Thursday 30 July

Dear Rizosfera & Armcomm Europe readers and listeners,
we are writing with an important service notice before the summer break.

The Rizosfera warehouse will be closed for holidays from 1 to 23 August 2026, reopening on Monday 24 August.

Orders received by 2pm (CEST) on Thursday 30 July will be processed immediately and shipped by Friday 31 July: if you wish to receive your records and books before the break, now is the time to order. After that date and time, orders will remain on standby and will be processed and shipped from Monday 24 August onwards, in the order they were received.

The online shop remains open throughout the summer: you can order any title in the catalogue at any time, even during the closure.

One more piece of news: Clock DVA's Second Sight will be distributed in the United Kingdom by Rough Trade, through the Rough Trade Shops and their International Mail Order. The album will be available from 4 September 2026 in UK (thru Rough Trade) and from 23 September in USA (thru Rizosfera America).

vi scriviamo per un avviso di servizio importante prima della pausa estiva. Il magazzino di Rizosfera chiuderà per ferie dal 1° al 23 agosto 2026, con riapertura lunedì 24 agosto.

CLOCK DVA — SECOND SIGHT — the artwork

Some records you listen to. This one you also hold, open, and stare at. Every Clock DVA release has always been striking in its visual identity — from the earliest sleeves onwards, the graphics have been part of the language itself. But this time, Adi Newton has outdone himself. On the cover of Second Sight sits 'Binary Construct of Vladimir Mayakovsky', a painting by Newton from 2007: the face of the Russian futurist poet doubled into a hypnotic twin image. Two Mayakovskys, one gaze — the same "second sight" that gives the album its title, applied to the man who wanted to see the future before everyone else. You keep looking, and the image keeps looking back. Around it, the whole design breathes the same air: a palette shifted into deep green tones, uncoated paper — rough and tactile, the kind your fingertips remember — and analogue synthesizers running through the artwork as the visual backdrop to what this album is: the archival recovery of Clock DVA's 2010s, compositions that had never been properly gathered into a single body of work. Until now.

Two 140-gram vinyl discs, gatefold sleeve, layout by Gabriele Fantuzzi. An object built to last as long as the music it carries.

200 copies worldwide. That's it.
Half of them are crossing the Atlantic for the American release via Rizosfera America (official US release: 23 September). Which means: in Europe, copies are running out fast.

Adi Newton — Newtones: five copies, then it's gone

After the last copy of SŌON's blue vinyl, the spotlight moves to another rarity in the catalogue: Newtones, Adi Newton's solo debut, released by ARMComm Europe in 2022.

Of the initial run of 500 copies, exactly five copies of the A5 digipak CD remain on the Rizosfera online shop. And in this form — the A5 digipak, the object you hold in your hands — Newtones will never be printed again.

The record is simply fantastic: the first work under his own name by one of the most visionary minds in European electronic music, after forty years of Clock DVA and The Anti Group. Anyone who loves Adi Newton's music should own it — and five people are about to.

Dopo l'ultima copia del vinile blu di SŌON, i riflettori si spostano su un'altra rarità del catalogo: Newtones, il debutto solista di Adi Newton, pubblicato da ARMComm Europe nel 2022.
