Questo sabato Take Your Time Records avrà l’onore di ospitare Live Giorgio Catalano, mente e forza creativa dietro al progetto GKHP.

Nato nel 2020, GKHP rappresenta la perfetta fusione tra due anime: George K, techno brutale e mente grezza, e Hateparisi, lato melodico, soul ed electro.
Dietro tutto questo c’è Giorgio Catalano: DJ e produttore killer con radici profonde nell’hip hop, nel reggae e nel breakbeat. Negli anni i suoi rami sonori si sono estesi verso territori Detroit techno e acid, senza mai perdere quella tensione verso melodie futuristiche e visioni elettroniche, soprattutto quando prende vita in live set.
Milano è la città che ha forgiato il suo suono e dove nasce Fu.Me, la sua etichetta, una piattaforma cruda e radicale che spinge costantemente verso i suoni sconosciuti del futuro.
Milano ha cresciuto Giorgio.
Ma GKHP è molto più di un progetto: è un cyborg techno, una macchina sonora progettata per viaggiare nello spazio della musica.
E sabato, quello spazio sarà Take Your Time Records.

This Saturday Take Your Time Records has the honor of hosting Giorgio Catalano, the mind and driving force behind the project GKHP.
Born in 2020, GKHP is the perfect fusion of two sides: George K, raw and relentless techno energy, and Hateparisi, the melodic, soulful and electro dimension.
Behind it all stands Giorgio Catalano, a killer DJ and producer whose roots run deep into hip hop, reggae and breakbeat culture. Over time his sonic branches have expanded into Detroit and acid techno territories, always keeping a strong attraction toward futuristic melodies and electronic visions, especially when expressed through a live performance.
Milan is the city that shaped his sound and the home of Fu.Me, his label pushing relentlessly toward unknown and forward-thinking sonic landscapes.
Milan raised Giorgio.
But GKHP is more than a project: it’s a techno cyborg, a sound machine built to travel through space.
And this Saturday, that space will be Take Your Time Records.

Direttamente da Altamura arriva Renato Indrio, con la sua visione profonda e radicata nel suono che conta.
Da Firenze arriva Taja, energia pura e ricerca costante.
Due città, due percorsi, un unico punto di incontro: la cultura del digging serio.
Non è un party qualsiasi.

È un momento di connessione tra persone che vivono la musica senza filtri.
Chi viene in negozio sa già che qui non si passa per caso. Si viene per ascoltare, confrontarsi, scegliere.
Alta selezione.

Classe 1985 Renato Indrio, attivo da sempre nel mondo della musica: promoter e fondatore del collettivo J4M - Just for Music, giornalista pubblicista (soundwall, DJMag), crate digger, producer (T over C, avantique) e soprattutto dj eclettico e raffinato (Earthbeat festival, Clorophilla, Lampara, Albatros club, Tito’s club Palma de Mallorca, La Bolsa Palma de Mallorca). I suoi set rigorosamente in vinile, che si tratti di elettronica d’autore o di ritmi più catchy da pista, raccontano un percorso musicale personale dalle mille sfumature, che converge sempre verso il groove.

Elena aka TAJA è una DJ attiva dal 2010. La sua ricerca si muove all’interno dell’house music, con una particolare attenzione alla deep house, che arricchisce con influenze soul, funk, soulful ed electro. I suoi set nascono da una selezione attenta e da una sensibilità musicale costruita nel tempo, con l’obiettivo di creare un’esperienza coinvolgente e coerente, capace di parlare sia agli ascoltatori più attenti sia alla pista da ballo.

Nel corso degli anni ha suonato in diversi club a Firenze e in altre città di d’Italia, condividendo la console con artisti come Francis Inferno Orchestra, Benedek, Omar Lye F**k, Gary Gritness, CC:DISCO! e Linkwood. Il suo percorso include anche esperienze su piattaforme radio indipendenti e streaming, tra cui la storica Red Light Radio.

Dal 2016 collabora con , affiancando Samuele Pagliai nel lavoro dietro le quinte dell’etichetta, offrendo supporto creativo e uno sguardo attento nello sviluppo dei progetti.

Con una selezione che alterna classici e nuove produzioni, TAJA porta avanti una visione personale e coerente dell’house music, mantenendo al centro qualità, ricerca e rispetto per la cultura del vinile.

There’s something I feel is not yet fully understood about what is building at Take Your Time Records.

The intention has never been to simply sell records.

The intention is to filter. To carefully listen, research, compare, and then place only what truly deserves space on the shelves. Inside the shop, you won’t find quantity for the sake of quantity. You’ll find a very high level of selection, chosen with care, experience, and deep respect for the culture.

The goal is simple but serious: DJs should carry quality in their bags. No unnecessary compromises. No shortcuts. When you step into the store, you step into a curated environment where the standard is intentionally high.

The young DJs who grow within these walls should have access to strong foundations. If you are surrounded by quality, you naturally develop taste, identity, and depth. Without that, it’s easy to become anonymous in a sea of trends.
This is the mission Niccolò has in mind. To create a space where selection matters, where digging is meaningful, and where the level remains consistently high.
And step by step, it’s already happening.
