Finalmente ci siamo, questo weekend ci vediamo tutti al guitar show a Bologna, padiglione 32 stand 2002.
Oltre a poter provare le mie chitarre, potrete sentirle in due occasioni:
-venerdì, ore 13, indoor stage, Francesco Banti;
-sabato, ore 13, silent stage, Davide Giancane e Thomas Di Viesti

Vi aspetto allo stand per fare due chiacchiere e magari portarvi a casa una nuova chitarra ad un prezzo speciale!

BHI ORIONE INFERIS
A fully customized guitar shaped on 's needs, from the woods to the hardware. Strong basses, a highly defined sound and an important focus on the dynamics.
Silo pickups from , and , all played through a FM9 distributed by : this is what Francesco used while he was writing and recording of his new EP, "Alive Inside", out on April 17th.
Here you can hear him playing the track "Voices".

-Working on the back body, with special attention to upper fret access and the upper contour-

Working wood by hand with scrapers, files and chisels is more challenging, but also more rewarding. It allows a deeper understanding of the material and gives the instrument a completely different meaning, highlighting the value of the luthier’s experience.
That experience then takes shape in a high-performance instrument, tailored to the guitarist who requested it.
A custom-made instrument can truly be one of a kind.

Cygnus was born from the idea of creating a super strat to expand the range of shapes in my catalogue and from a coffee I had with , a local client I’ve known for years... He had been thinking for a while about having me build him an instrument.

Inspired by Alice in Wonderland, the novel by Charles Lutwidge Dodgson, this guitar features a roasted alder body with a figured ash top, a roasted maple neck, and an ebony fretboard; all helping keep the weight under 3 kg.
On the electronics cavity cover there is an inlay designed by my sweet love .
and hardware, combined with a Polymath at the bridge and a Tryptich at the neck, make the instrument extremely dynamic and adaptable to any musical genre.

Thanks to Luca for commissioning me: this has been a beautiful journey.

Last setup and string change before the delivery.
I try multiple setups on the same instrument to see which one works best for the client: these are small nuances that allow the guitarist to express themselves at their best and the guitar to perform at its maximum.

The final step before assembling the guitar:
polishing.

After spending weeks shaping the wood and applying the finish, one of my favorite parts finally arrives: bringing the instrument to a shine and seeing it truly come to life.

A satisfaction second only to seeing the instrument fully completed.

Yesterday, against all odds, I drove a total of 500 km to the show in Rome. Three and a half hours of driving that I’d do all over again without a second thought! Leprous are amazing, no doubt about it, but the opening bands were great discoveries too: first , then .

Today I'm back in the lab (even though I got way too little sleep. Someone get me a coffee...)
