This was the very first carryall—the one that started it all.

All ten Generation 1 carryalls were hand-sewn during the COVID pandemic as experimental pieces.

Pairing plush cotton velvet with the unique embroidered table-runner print came naturally; surprisingly, selecting the lining proved more difficult.

We’ll consult the new owner, about the extra surprise that included for her.

Our current carryalls have been slightly modified for practical and stylistic purposes.

INSPIRATION: Stefano Canulli

Stefano Canulli, a graduate of Rome’s Fine Arts, began his career at 19, working with notable figures like Piero Tosi, Luchino Visconti’s Oscar-winning costume designer, and Federico Fellini, as well as Mauro Pagano for theatre and opera costumes.

He developed strong connections with top Roman Couture Houses, including Roberto Capucci and , serving as both illustrator and artistic director for advertising campaigns. In the 1980s, his illustration skills earned him the opportunity to design covers for the iconic Italian magazine VANITY.

This exquisite illustration from 1987 beautifully encapsulates every element that defines the carryall, showcasing its vibrant colors, harmonious proportions, and the unique stylistic blend that sets it apart.

The signature tie best represents how we envision the carryall being worn.

However, depending on the occasion and the needs of your daily life, the carryall is versatile and accommodates those needs without compromising style.

The Generation II (revised) carryall can now be worn as a cross-body (as shown here) or over the shoulders for a more relaxed look.

We hope enjoys using this carryall as much as we enjoyed creating it especially for her.

Our first attempt at pairing contrasting fabrications resulted in one (shown here) of ten generation-one carry-alls, which were all hand-sewn and carefully styled as if they were outfits.

As fun as we had pairing a plush velvet with a bold geometric silk print, it was equally enjoyable to decide to line it with a beige stripe, just to add that extra element of surprise.

Our current carry-all has been slightly modified for practical and stylistic purposes.

INSPIRATION: Maroon / Burgundy

The rich hues of maroon and burgundy have deeply inspired my design for a velvet jacket, stemming from my experiences in designing men’s tailored sportswear a decade ago.

This unforgettable piece, created in the early 1980s by French designer Claude Montana, has remained in my memory all these years.

These colors embody warmth, sophistication, and a touch of luxury, making them the perfect foundation for a statement piece.

Though the color of the velvet I ultimately used was more fuchsia, the lining I paired it with was more than enough to express my love for this color family.

The plush texture of velvet adds a tactile element that enhances the jacket’s luxurious feel. Velvet’s soft, tactile quality contrasts beautifully with the smoothness of silk, which I plan to use for accents or lining. This interplay between textures not only elevates the design but also creates a dynamic visual experience.
