I don’t usually build replicas, but I made an exception for my friend .
This guitar has a unique personality, and I took great care in every detail.

The relic finish might not be for everyone, but both, Cristiano and I, are really happy with the result—visually and sonically.

The body is made of swamp ash, the neck is an All Parts, and the pickups are a mix of Lollars and the bridge one that I wound myself.
It’s finished in nitro lacquer, with a full relic treatment and an aged patina that gives it a real character.

You’ll hear this little gem soon—and yes, it sounds just as authentic and alive as it looks.

Today I focused on finishing this beautiful neck—an outstanding piece both in materials and craftsmanship.

It’s made entirely from roasted flamed maple. The neck itself is quarter-sawn, offering the best balance between lightness, strength, and stability. The fingerboard is flat-sawn, showcasing an intense flamed pattern.

It’s fitted with stainless steel medium jumbo frets, chosen for their smooth feel and long-lasting durability.
The finish will be done with natural oil to preserve the wood’s character and leave a smooth, silky touch.

A neck that combines beauty, precision, and feel, exactly how it should be.

A Fender Telecaster Custom Shop Jerry Donahue Signature that carries its history with elegance.

Despite the years, it’s in excellent shape: ash body with a birdseye maple top and back—same beautiful wood used for the neck and fingerboard.
The electronics are what really make this model stand out: a 5-way switch that combines the two pickups in parallel, in-phase, out-of-phase, and with custom frequency cuts for exceptional tonal range.

I gave it a fresh setup, improved the nut where the string slots were worn down, and replaced the old rubber tubing with silicone for better pickup height control at the neck.

An instrument built for character, sensitivity, and expression—now even more responsive and ready to perform.

The body of the new Tonale is almost complete.
All the routing and holes has been done with precision. Now it’s just missing the binding and the finish.
One detail I really love?
The flush neck plate — recessed just enough to sit perfectly level with the body.
Small choices that make a big difference in terms of ergonomics and feel.

Upgrades completed on this timeless Gibson.
Les Paul Custom in Wine Red finish, original pickups replaced with a set of Seymour Duncan Antiquity, and full vintage-style wiring with CTS pots and Bumble Bee capacitors.
Finished with a complete setup and deep clean — back in top shape, and ready to sing again.

While the body sets, it’s time to focus on the neck.
I’m working with roasted flamed maple , lightweight, stable, and with beautiful grain.
I start by using a drilling template for precise alignment, then route the channel for a dual-action truss rod.
I prefer this type because it allows for adjustments in both directions over time — ensuring long-term stability and playability.
