Anna, our designer and founder of Mjúk Iceland, was born in Poltava region, Ukraine. She has been living and working for many years in Iceland and her designs are influenced both by Ukrainian and Icelandic nature and culture.

This little girl is our daughter Lía. She is my biggest inspiration and happiness. Whatever challenges life brings, I am happy because I was blessed to become a mother to such a wonderful baby girl. And of course, many of our happy colors are created because of her and for her.

You would be surprised, but our busiest season is summer! We specialize in the softest textures and the most versatile beanies and capes- locally designed and made. One of the new services that became popular is fully custom made clothing: neckwarmers, wrist warmers and capes and shawls. Made in Reykjavik, Iceland:
1)we produce them for you literally in the same building as Mjúk Iceland flagship store;
2)Anna constantly designs something new, offering unique limited editions to our customers;
3)we can co-design products with you and create something one of a kind for you wether it is a beanie or a cape.

as a mom, designer and business owner I multitask all the time. As an owner of a small business in Iceland I am designer , accountant, loader, cleaner, seamstress, carpenter, HR and many other things. Honestly , I think that only people who are absolutely obsessed with what they create can be entrepreneurs long term. I have been working in our family business since I was a kid and I completely transformed it when I came back to it as an adult. Just for your information, I am that kind of person who is fully dedicated to every part of our work, wether it is inventing a new type of yarn for our scarves or developing a new color for pompoms or creating new pattern for beanies so you would feel even more comfortable and cozy wearing them.
