Have you ever wanted to start a new cosplay in Iceland, and needed materials? You looked everywhere, and couldn't find anywhere affordable, that will deliver any faster than 4 weeks. Cosplay Iceland was born. We are cosplayers ourselves, so you can be certain we will always work on getting the best quality materials for cosplay, at an affordable price. We are located in Kópavogur, and you can usually find us at the Nexus cosplay workshops as well.

Products back in stock!

We have been quiet on here for a long time, partially because covid shut down a lot of shipping, and partially because we have been busy with more projects (news coming soon) , as well as our limited stock being sold out during halloween

However behind the scenes we have been hard at work getting everything running properly again.

As of right now all Dense EVA foam sizes are back in stock, foam clay is in stock, most Worbla is in stock (aside from Transparent), including crystal art and deco art and Sintra is in stock. Cosplay books are in transit and will be restocked as soon as they arrive. Strapping and buckles are being measured/counted and will be showing in stock soon, and we are looking at ordering more contact lenses asap.

The dice towers we have been teasing are about ready to launch properly, but will be moving to our sister store which is more focused on crafts and merchandising (more on this very soon).

We are looking forward to being able to supply every costuming need you may have once again.

We will be opening back up starting Tuesday June 9th. Please note that most of our factories are as of yet unable to ship to Iceland, so stocks are limited. We are doing our best to have the stock numbers up to date, but some items may be listed as in stock that aren't. we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, usually we have extra's on the way at all times. Worbla is fully stocked, if any worbla shows out of stock simply send us a message, we definitely have it :)

With the restrictions getting more relaxed we will soon start shipping/delivering again.

Please note that when we do it will be mostly the current stock, as not all of the factories we get our materials from are able to ship to Iceland again yet.

As you may notice things are a little different then previous years.

We now have group discounts such as family tickets available

You can add merchandise directly to your ticket order

We have some great new programs:

The Share rewards program, which lets you earn free merch,tickets, and even tickets for future events, by sharing your personal referral link, and having friends buy tickets or merch through it.

We have the Pay it forward program, which lets you send discounted weekend passes to 3 of your friends!

As we had many requests from people that wanted to buy the 2019 VIP messenger bag, but did not have a VIP pass that year, the remaining messenger bags are available now for share rewards points only. There is an extremely limited amount of these left, so get to sharing quick! :)

All of this is available through your personal growtix account, which you will gain access to after buying a ticket.

Verðum við með 2 aðskilda hópa sem hægt er að sækja um að vera partur af, einn hópurinn sér bara um uppsetningu og niðurrif dagana fyrir og eftir hátíðina sjálfa en seinni hópurinn sér um alla þá hluti sem þarf að passa á meðan á hátíðinni stendur.

Aðstoða við skipulag/uppsetningu á pallborðsumræðu herbergjum
Stjórna spilum í spilaherberginu

IT'S UPDATE MONDAY!

It's time! We need volunteers for 2020 🙂

This year our volunteer program will be a bit different from the last ones. We will have 2 seperate groups that you can volunteer to be a part of, one is only in charge of setting up and taking down the event and the other will be in charge of all the things that have to happen during the event itself.

Midguardian volunteers:

Help with registration
Help changing panel room layouts/setups
Run games in the games room
Host the green room
Check badges at the entrance
Etc.

Midguardian Crew:

Help with set up (moving chairs and tables, setting up reception area, etc.
Help with tear down (the same but in reverse 😉 )

All volunteers get a free weekend pass for the event including other freebies!
