New DID1 firmware is out, version 1.9. The major changes this time is the introduction of a cluster mode that allows the control of up to 16 cylinders using two ECUs networked together, with the second ECU needing no sensor signals except crank/cam position to work.
Another new feature is a high speed governor in the standard code making it easier to tune engines that should run at a fixed speed with varying load such as generators, agricultural or industrial engines.
At the same time there is a new version of Calibrator that has the ability to always be logging data, so when recording is stopped it automatically starts recording again, so when tuning you can never forget to start a new log after ending one to have a look, and the logs can be limited in time for unattended 24/7 logging with a new file every hour or however long. This new version also allows opening log files that are still being written to, and they automatically update in the log window as they grow.
