وسئل علي بن موسی الرضا (سلام الله عليه) عن خيار العباد؟
فقال عليه السلام:
الذين إذا أحسنوا استبشروا.
وإذا أساؤا استغفروا،
وإذا أعطوا شكروا،
وإذا ابتلوا صبروا،
وإذا غضبوا عفوا.

Imām Reza (peace be with him) was asked about the best of the servants of God?
He, replied:
Those who do good, rejoice.
And if commit sin, ask forgiveness,
when they blessed, they are thankful,
If they are afflicted, they are patient,
And if they become angry, they forgive.
