Mosul tells project Restoring social coherence through art:oral history turned into theatre, graphic novels, and animations

MOSUL TELLS is a project which strives to foster social cohesion in and around Mosul through culture and arts. To this end, young adults with different ethnical and religious backgrounds from Ninewa came together in 2022 for Oral History workshops and developed short stories from their experiences and backgrounds. In 2023, these stories will serve as a basis for a graphic novel, a puppet show, and

animation films. The book, the puppet show and films will be part of an exhibition shown in several cities in Iraq in 2024. The project is implemented by elbarlament and Paia Agency, and funded by the German Federal Foreign Office and Art+.
