🌿 Today, on World Environment Day, we took a small step towards a greener future.

Our visit to Devrai Foundation to collect seeds for a seed ball making activity reminded us that meaningful change often begins with something as small as a seed.

Each seed ball carries hope—for greener landscapes, healthier ecosystems, and a more sustainable tomorrow.

Because when communities and nature thrive together, everyone grows. 🌱

Aam'ed if there is a word like that ☺️ that would be us. From the farms, reaping a fresh harvest of the most amazing hapus mangoes, the size dazzles us and the mehnat of our shetkari dada is so evident.

He is utterly humble, blissfully unaware of the food gold he has. Also, got distracted by a few bursts of fresh Kadipatta shoots and the cashew trees.

The khaasiyat of these mangoes is that they are completely and utterly organic and naturally ripened. So if you happen to know a farmer, please ensure that you give him more than a fair price and do not haggle with him or her over the price.

This year the harvest was low but nevertheless.

We are ready to box the harvest and take it to the city for a stall. Wish us luck! 🙏☺️

Pun madam, amhala English kasa samajhnaar? So our answer was quick, you can change the language to Marathi. And that's where it all begin, with a little bit of app and some bakarwadis from Chitale.

A small step into technology turned into a big moment of confidence for the women entrepreneurs from Raigad. 💛

On 12th May, 2026, we conducted a pilot session of the Bharatrath mobile application at our Mangaon office for the donor supported women entrepreneurs and a few others. Alok and Vijay from Bharatrath guided the women through the FREE app — helping them explore billing, customer records, inventory, and sales tracking with ease.

A big thank you to the Raigad team for ensuring the ladies attended the session and truly understood the importance of moving their billing fully to digital.

Though there was initial hesitation, confidence quickly took over as the women began using the app on their own phones. Available in Marathi, Hindi and English, the Android app made business management feel simple and empowering.

The most heartwarming moment came the next morning when Nanda Pawar proudly shared a WhatsApp bill she had generated herself for a customer who purchased patravali — a small win with a big smile. 💛

Swades Foundation recently had the opportunity to showcase its work at the Pune Social Impact Dialogue, held at the Sheraton Grand Pune Bund Garden Hotel.

We set up a Swades stall alongside 15 other NGOs, highlighting our Dream Village approach through the engaging 6S game—an interactive way to bring our work to life.

The stall drew strong interest from corporates, members of the press, and fellow NGOs. Visitors not only participated in the game but also engaged in meaningful conversations around Swadhin—our women-led initiative that empowers rural entrepreneurs and brings their work to the forefront.

It was a privilege to represent Swades at the event, and we are truly grateful to the Software Exporters Association of Pune team for this opportunity.
