Meshing (Hypermesh/ ANSA):

Sheet metal/ Plastic parts meshing using Shell/ Solid elements
1d meshing using beam elements
Well aware of various quality criteria and its importance
Meshing quality checks

FE Modeling (Hypermesh/ ANSA) working experience in:

Various connections e.g. Welds, Bolt, Rivets
Thickness, Material assignment and relevant Ls-Dyna inputs
Various Contacts Modeling as per Ls-Dyna and meaning & importance of various contacts in Ls-Dyna

Analysis (Ls-Dyna) working experience in:

Debugging Ls-Dyna Model
Knowledge of various Control/ Database cards
Working experience in Explicit analysis load cases related to seating systems
Various quality checks to be done on analysis results in detail

Post-Processing (Hyperview/ mETA post):

Basic post processing ( Stress/ Strain plots, Energies, 2d plots of Displacement/ Force/ Torque)
Interpretation of output

Knowledge & skill

· Good understanding of structural mechanics
· Knowledge of basics of FEM
· Proficiency in the use of ANSYS Mechanical /APDL Proficient with geometry clean-up, meshing, model-build, error debugging, simulation, post-processing , report preparation and customer communication.

Work experience
· Minimum 2+ years hands-on experience in numerical modeling and simulation

Educational qualification
· Graduate in mechanical/automobile/aeronautical/naval architecture/civil engineering from a recognized university with minimum CGPA 6.0

Job location: Mumbai
