PashooPakshee PashooPakshee is bringing Wildlife into your homes with delicately designed collectibles and souveni

Our drive to start this company has been truly patriotic with a sense of responsibility towards our society and nature. We value and cherish the beauty of Indian handicrafts that are heavily influenced by nature. From The Gond painting to the Dhokra metal casting, Indian handicraft artists have always incorporated themes from the world around them. We respect this and wish to take it forward by in

troducing themes around wildlife and beautiful Indian forests. Our designers have taken special efforts to reach Indian artisans directly, train them patiently on new designs so that they make the best out of their craft. We have collaborated with multiple NGOs where we work with Women Self Help Groups by training them to make some of our products. Some of the SHGs we work with are from Tribal villages living in the buffer zones of protected wildlife reserves. Along with skill development we provide them with a sustainable source of income. Through our products we have also tried to create awareness about critically endangered animals and birds. The Tiger is a favourite among wildlife enthusiasts and we’re no exception to this rule. Along with the mighty tiger, we also wish to promote and celebrate the spirit of all kinds of animals, birds and insects that make our forests so rich and eclectic. Every animal, every bird has it's own story, it's own glory or it's fight for survival. At PashooPakshee, we wish to share their magnificent stories through our products and make a difference.

Meet .in, bringing products from the forest and its people to you.

Forest-dependent communities across India harvest Minor Forest Produce with deep ecological knowledge. Forest Post builds on this knowledge by supporting value addition and fair market access. All products are made by Adivasi women working in collectives or independently across the Western Ghats and beyond, and help strengthen livelihoods rooted in forests that have been home for generations.
