In order to overcome the Olfactory fatigue there's a lot ways to regain your smell sensitivity to smells that you've only been exposed to it for a short periods at a time.

* Smell something that has a little acidity to it like coffee or lemons

* You can also smell the sleeve of your shirts smell also helps to regain the sensitivity due to soaps in your fabrics or skin care products

If you are exposed to same smell for more than an hour it can take a day for your sensitivity to that odor to return.

If you are exposed to same odor repeatedly it can take even longer for your sensitivity to return
