Can a 6,500-year-old craft make your space one-of-a-kind?

Dhokra’s lost-wax casting process requires every mould to be made from scratch, making each piece truly unique.

During our recent Dhokra workshop, we revisited years of experimentation—from cooking tavas for custom curvatures to forging concealed fixtures, every breakthrough came from pushing the craft beyond its limits while staying true to its essence.

Our biggest takeaway? Craft innovation lies in engineering material without losing its soul.

A pomegranate tree stretches its branches in a client’s powder room in Mumbai, transforming
the intimate space into a sparkling jewel box.

Composed of individually cut and placed mirror fragments, the mural blends the opulence of Rajasthani thikri with a contemporary spatial language.

✨Lustrous and luminous, the exquisite craftsmanship of the hand-cut mirrorwork amplifies the ambiance. Against the curved walls, the composition envelops the viewer—revealing new reflections from every angle.

“A laughing pomegranate
brings the whole garden to life.”
– Rumi

A timeless motif of abundance and prosperity, the pomegranate has appeared in art all over the world for centuries—from Mughal miniatures and Rajasthani block prints to medieval manuscripts and European still lifes—‘Anaar’ is an ode to nature-led symbolism in enduring cultural memory.

Graceful and poised, a black panther emerges from the shadows – its golden accents echoed by matching geometric tribal motifs on the surrounding walls. 🐆

At Tambo in Hyderabad, designed by .design , Baaya’s artworks bring the Amazon to life through layered visual narratives and richly textured foliage.

Vibrant tribal portraits line a striking turquoise wall, their intricate headdresses and jewellery celebrate indigenous identities, while sculpted 3D birds introduce depth and tactility. Nearby, richly layered jungle scenes unfold across the walls – where painted foliage and carved 3D birds paint a picture of forest life that feels cinematic. 🌴

Each artwork is atmospheric – creating a space designed to be experienced.
