Our Roman Calcei Boots are meticulously handcrafted from premium vegetable-tanned leather with upper crafted from durable 2 mm thick natural, uncolored leather and fitted with sturdy leather laces, reflecting the simplicity and functionality of original Roman designs. The leather thongs used in the shoes has a square section. The boots feature a robust 4 mm thick leather sole, built to provide exceptional durability and support.
Inspired by the footwear used by Roman military personnel, these boots were designed to withstand the demands of long marches, harsh weather conditions, and rugged terrain. The enclosed design offers full-foot protection, while the high-ankle construction provides added stability and comfort during extended periods of walking or travel.
