I recently visited Sri Sowmyanatha Swamy Temple in Nandalur. That day, with just a little thought of doing a doodle, I started sketching right there. I absolutely love this temple. the serene atmosphere, the energy, and especially the 7-foot idol inspired me to draw. After darshan, I carried that thought with me. Once I returned home, I completed it as a sketch.
Art has truly become my lens to explore the stories of temples, uncovering the meaning behind every deity, every curve. The more I draw, the more these stories come alive for me.
This is how it all came together. please share your thoughts in the comments!

"I’m exploring art strokes and sketching techniques inspired by temples"

Jogulamba temple is regarded as a Shakthi peetha where Sati Devi's upper teeth fell
The deities are Jogulamba and Balabrahmeswara, a form of Shiva. In this temple Goddess Jogulamba is seen seated on a co**se with scorpion, frog, and lizard on the head. The word Jogulamba is said to be derived from the Telugu word Yogula Amma which means Mother of Yogis.
