🍍💧 Simple Guide to Growing a Pineapple in Water 💧🍍
1️⃣ Pick a healthy pineapple
Choose one with fresh, firm green leaves. Avoid any with yellowing or damaged foliage.
2️⃣ Prepare the crown
Twist off the leafy top and remove a few bottom leaves to expose 2–3 cm of stem.
3️⃣ Place in water
Submerge only the stem in a glass of water, keeping the leaves dry. Put it in a sunny spot for 6–8 hours of light daily, and change the water every 2–3 days.
4️⃣ Wait for roots to grow
Once the roots reach about 7–10 cm, it’s ready to be moved into soil.
5️⃣ Transplant and care
Plant the crown in a 30 cm pot with well-draining soil, water generously, and keep it in a sunny location. Maintain regular watering.
With a little patience, you’ll enjoy watching your pineapple grow — and one day, taste a fruit you grew yourself.
