Women’s day celebration 2026 at Artisan Well Factory:

International Women’s Day (March 8) is a global day celebrating the social, economical, cultural, and political achievements of women and accelerated action on gender equality / parity.

Basic introduction about women’s day: International Women's Day (IWD), celebrated annually on March 8, originated from early 20th-century labour movements in North America and Europe, focusing on women's rights to vote, better working conditions, and equality. Proposed by Clara Zetkin in 1910 and later solidified by Russian women's 1917 "Bread and Peace" strike, it was officially recognized by the UN in 1977.

Just like previous years, this year also we have celebrated International Women’s Day, it was a small ceremonial event to pay gratitude to our female colleagues for their contribution in our daily activities at our work place.

International Women's Day is celebrated to honour women's achievements, advocate for gender equality, and raise awareness regarding ongoing challenges like violence, pay gaps, and limited representation.

WORLD FAIR TRADE DAY CELEBRATION

World Fair Trade Day Celebration at Artisan Well. (2024).
We Artisan Well has celebrated World Fair Trade Day 2024 on 18th May at its Factory unit.

As we all know due to vigorous cutting of the trees, our mother nature is changing its climate vigorously. So this year we have celebrated this day by planting trees at our factory premises.

Heavy industrialization, commercialization and over construction, causing climate change of our mother nature this is all because of deforestation.

As we all know, plants absorb carbon dioxide and release oxygen, so due to cutting of trees these greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide remains on the earth surface and increasing the heat, it also decreases the rainfall. Which is leading to Global Warming.

So this year on the occasion of World Fair trade day we have celebrate it by planting trees at our area.

We have planted almost 250 orange jasmine plant this will not only add beautification but also inhale unwanted greenhouse gases and exhale oxygen.

After that we deliver a small lecture about its importance and also inspire people to plant trees in their own locality.

At the end we celebrated all and do lunch altogether.
So this was all a fun filled day.

Male colleagues were also invited to join the discussion meeting.

We are extremely encouraged and thrilled to share our stories of Gender Equality, and also telling about how Empowered our women’s are, all our female colleagues with beautiful smile having their struggle stories in behind, some of which we will going to share briefly.
