A Memorable Visit from Scotland

Around 2 PM, a tall foreign gentleman wearing a black short kurta was seen observing our display from outside. After a few moments, he stepped into our shop and began exploring our collection.

After a brief introduction, we came to know his name was George, and he was from Scotland. It was his very first day in Kolkata—and interestingly, our shop was among the first places he chose to visit.

He was specifically looking for Oudh attar, so we presented him with a few premium options. After trying the samples, he said he would step out for a while to check the fragrance performance and would return later if satisfied. We happily agreed.

About 15–20 minutes later, he returned with a smile, confident about his choice. He finally selected two attars:
• Premium Oudh Cambodi
• Oud Kuwaiti Intense (our best seller)

When asked about his experience, he appreciated our shop and said, “It is very good, and your collection is also nice.” He also mentioned that he felt relaxed in our store, which was a truly meaningful compliment for us.
He even suggested that we expand into online business, showing his genuine interest and support.

What touched us the most was his gesture at the end—he took out some money from his wallet and asked us to donate it to charity wherever we felt appropriate. This reflected his kindness and generosity.

Before leaving, he took a few visiting cards of our shop and promised to visit again whenever he returns to Kolkata.

Alhamdulillah for such beautiful and heartfelt encounters.
