Food! Food!
Food was all I wanted!
Never imagined,
It would make my end so haunted!
They were generous hoomans!
They fed me!
Delicious... delicious...it was!
But! Ouch!!
Was it Fireworks?
It hurts! It hurts!
My trunk!..My jaw!!
But! Hey?...My baby??
How can it bear all the pains that gnaw?
I need to run! I need to run!!
I need a relief from the festering pain!
I see many kids having fun!
Hurting them will fetch me no gain!
Hey! I can see a pond!
Maybe water can give me the relief I want!
I feel so calm! I feel so relaxed!
"Is it a sin to be hungry? Forgive them lord"

We at Furrfolks are equally lamenting on such a loss! Let's be a bit more humane!Let's try to save the lives of these voiceless creatures and not just torture them this way!
Let's have a bit more respect for the ones who are being troubled since ages!
