A small brief about Local (not sure it touches everything, still..):
Local Sustainable Living is an evolving platform based in Kochi (as of now) that explores better ways of living through everyday practice, ideas, products, spaces, and experiences. It can be a social enterprise.
What started as a simple intention has slowly grown into a space where people come together to create, experiment, collaborate, and build meaningful things. It brings together local products, sustainable practices, workshops, gatherings, conversations, and creative explorations in a natural and practical way.
Currently operating from a 200-year-old tharavadu (traditional house) in Maradu, Local continues to explore how physical spaces can shape the way we live, work, interact, and coexist. The space functions as a store, gathering point, workplace, and evolving ecosystem, where every activity is approached with thought, purpose, and care.
At its core, Local Sustainable Living is about trying things out honestly, exploring how self sustainability, creativity, sharing fair value for all, business, culture, and everyday life can coexist in a more balanced and meaningful way.
