This pink climbing rose is my current favourite ( I know I say this about every plant of mine in all of my posts🙈😂) . This one was an accidental purchase as I thought it to be a white one .. atleast that's what the shopkeeper said to me..but I was even more happy when the flowers turned out to be pink! I have planted this one on ground and I ignore most of my plants planted on ground as they need less care but I guess this one needs a bit more attention so I have decided to place a pole and train the climber properly! let's see if it comes out as expected💃

She is a very tricky one to grow..I had too many of them grown from seeds ..but none flowered until 4-5 months of growing them when 2 of them flowered to my surprise. But the rest of my coreopsis plants didn't flower at all in the next 3 months from then..so I threw away most of them leaving just 2 to grow on its own way! I just left them up for the dead ..I didn't give them any care..neither did I feed them with a fertilizer..but they just bloomed this month 😌😂 I just learnt that this one grows well when neglected n doesn't like too much of fertilizing! Soo to the ones who likes to grow them and want them to bloom quickly- Ignore these wannabes!🤡

If you are looking for a lotus plant which is easy to grow yet a good bloomer, this one would be a great choice. Also it blooms within a month from the date of potting.

Another surprisingly beautiful day in my life! My mother and I were so excited about this bloom ..trust me..this would be the most beautiful sight you would ever witness in a while✨
Lotus variety: Red Philip
How did I grow them?
I grew it from a tuber( make sure it has growth tips)
How to plant them?!
Either take a potting mix containing garden soil, compost/cow dung and some bone meal or a mixture of soil, sand and fertilizers
Mix them and add it to a wide-mouth 15" deep pot, place the tuber with the growth tips facing upwards and add some water until the tuber gets soaked ( 1/4th of the pot)
After 3 or 4 days, you might see some growth ..that time you can add some more water and continue adding water when you see more growth each day..Red philip and similar hybrid lotus plants bloom in a month or so just after the standing leaves appear.
If you live in a sunny area and if you are lazy to take care of your plants and often neglect them leaving them to die, but still wants a beautiful garden, growing aquatic plants like Lotus and lily would be a great option! I hope someone would start planting a lotus because of their laziness!:D oh n I forgot to say that the lotus is extremely fragrant! Sooo happy gardening!!:)
