Shri Nanasaheb Bedekar the founder person of hair oil “Prakash Maka Hair Oil” , made it a famous brand which became popular all over in Maharashtra and across India. This brand garnered a good recognition due to best quality. Following the legacy, his enthusiast grandson Mr. Vaibhav Bedekar a Diploma holder in Mechanical engineering started his own venture in the same business. He always wanted to
explore something new in this field. After a detailed study of the cost and accounting part of Prakash Maka oil and after brainstorming sessions, they came to a conclusion to try a new venture in Coconut oil. Being aware of the fact to purchase coconut oil from other vendors would prove to be a costly affair, they decided to extract the same in-house. Vaibhav Bedekar studied the process of oil extraction and the machinery required for the procedure. They now realized that oil can be extracted from the seeds and edible oil can be generated. Things turned out to be positive for them and after a period of time, they installed machines in the production unit at Karjat-Murbad Highway. By April 2021, they were ready for selling their first batch of edible oils. The company has the extraction facilities for deriving groundnut oil, coconut oil, sesame oil and sunflower oil. They also sell the byproduct an oil cake which is sold as cattle feed. In the beginning stage, they get a raw by-product which they term as mixed oil. This mixed oil gets sold at a cheaper rate and is used for lighting diyas (lamps lighted in front of GOD). Our main product the Cold Pressed Oil or Kacchi Ghani oil gets filtered through 5 micron cotton cloth filter removing all the impurities and other unwanted particles out in this process and what we receive in the end is cold pressed edible oil (Ghanyavarche Tel) ready for consumer’s use. This oil is sold directly from the factory outlet situated at karjat
Oil seeds first get cleaned then directly poured into cold press Ghani, for extraction of oil at room temperature. Then it gets to the second extraction process in to the oil expeller. Then Extracted oil gets filtered through 5 Micron cotton cloth and becomes clear from Impurities and excess fibers. This cleared oil gets packed in to the food grade PET bottle or HDPE jar with the help of filling Machine.
