I am Dhruv, one of those lucky persons who is still breathing, I am grateful to many people for this. Terrorists and politicians are at the top of my list. Although no thank you is big enough to describe what you have done for me. I still am trying to put it into words.
First of all, I would like to thank the terrorists for not killing me while performing their latest atrocity and allowing me to breathe for some more days, which is such a fortunate thing to talk about.
You certainly have taken away many talented people, who could have competed against me professionally. And you have reduced the Indian population with your random killings; we can now breathe deeply. It does not matter if our breath is that of fear or anger. To most of us, it makes no difference. You have forced us to realize that this is not just a dog-eat-dog world, but a human-eat-human world also. We now have a few more historical monuments to show to tourists now – the aftermath of terrorist atrocities.
Now you’ve given us something else to argue about – which was the bigger attack, the bombs on the train or the bombs in the middle of a crowded market? But that’s not a big issue; I’m sure the statisticians will sort it out. Such an exciting activity, isn’t it? We say cricket is the most popular sport here, but I disagree, because I think terrorism is more popular than cricket. And like the best of sportsmen, you play with the lives of millions. That requires lots of dedication and effort.
